Earth Day (April 22) Starbucks Green Team promotes

Reusing Coffee Grounds Grounds for Your Garden is a program
that provides used coffee grounds at no charge to customers
and local parks as a soil amendment.

Expanding Efforts in Our International Operations In 2002,
Starbucks Coffee Japan, Ltd., earned ISO 14001 certification ?
a leading international standard for environmental
management systems.
The Japan Green Team also researched innovative,
environmentally-friendly napkins made from
70% post-consumer recycled milk-carton fiber and
30% bamboo fiber that are now used in
all Starbucks Japan stores.
