Radio Vikini, Behind The Lab Un Crabe La Tet

Radio Bikini is a 1988 American documentary film directed by Robert Stone. It was nominated for an Academy Award in 1988 for Best Documentary Feature. The film documents the nuclear tests performed around Bikini Atoll during Operation Crossroads in 1946, and their effects on the indigenous population and American servicemen involved in the testing. It starts with a live radio broadcast from the Bikini Atoll a few days before it is annihilated by a nuclear test. Shows great footage from these times and tells the story of the US Navy Sailors who were exposed to radioactive fallout. One interviewed sailor suffered grotesquely swollen limbs and he is shown being interviewed with enormous left arm and hand. Robert Stone's acclaimed documentary uses declassified footage to show how Bikini islanders were removed from their homes by the U.S. so their atoll could be used for Cold War atomic bomb testing.

조금 전 케이블 방송 Sundance 채널에서 본 미국의 4, 5번째 핵실험 기록영화 마지막 부분을 우연히 보았습니다. 1946년 남태평양 환초에서 지상, 지하에서 원자탄 폭발 실험을 미국의 NBC가 생방송한 내용 등을 주제로 방사능 후유증으로 두 다리를 절단하고 몸의 일부가 기이하게 부어올라 기형이 된 해군병사가 출연하여 증언, 당시 다른 섬으로 강제 이주한 원주민의 귀환 호소 등으로 구성한 비극적인 내용. Wrong Road to Peace, Atom for Peace... 등 미 정부에서 보관하고 있었던 기록물을 편집한 것으로 인류가 지금이라도 결정을 내려야 할 문제, 핵 공포의 노예가 될 것인가, 과연 안전한 관리가 가능한가, 미국
