"3.11 - Dialogue with Fukushima¡±
Exhibition outline:
Purpose: In 2022, it will be 11 years since the tragedy at Fukushima.
The nuclear accident at the power plants was the worst in history;
a man-made disaster. Even now, 10 years after the accident, there are nearly 40,000 people who haven't been able to return to their homes.
The release of contaminated water from the Alps into the ocean, with no way to clean it up, is not just a Japanese problem, but a global one.
Artists with a conscience must continue to express for Fukushima so that they're never forgotten. We hope that the precious voices of us ¡±little people¡±,
as Svetlana Alexievich, Nobel Prize winner for Literature for "The Chernobyl Prayer" puts it, will reach the hearts of as many people as possible.
